Appleseed Personnel is accepting resumes for a great temp to hire position in Leominster.
The essential functions of this position include assisting in the maintenance and upgrading of of equipment, assisting with installation of pumps, gears, and mechanical drive systems when needed, and record updating. You will test coatings using a lab moisture analyzer to maintain specifications.
Maintain all ovens, wash, and coating tanks. Maintenance and upkeep of restrooms and cafeteria. You must be able to read and write English in order to execute written instructions. You must possess familiarity with mechanical/electrical equipment. Lifting of up to 50lbs, ability to climb stairs and ladders required.
Monday through Friday 6:30-3:00 with some Saturday overtime during busy times. $19.86 per hour with great benefits upon hire.
Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
