We are assisting a client with finding a Senior Underwriter for a temporary position in Spencer. The assignment is to run through the end of August and is full time Monday through Friday.
The Senior Underwriter will be responsible for examining loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, and working with loan originators and production staff to secure all required documents. In this position, you will have the authority to approve, withdraw, and decline loans. May be involved in one or several types of mortgage lending , including conventional, government backed, FHA, VA Mass Housing and others as needed. The Senior Underwriter positions includes all levels of underwriting authority and exception levels and may respond to individual and investor audits.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:30-4:30 and Fridays 8:30 - 5:00. $45.00-50.00 per hour depending on experience.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
