We are seeking a great candidate for a 1st shift single department Class B Operator/Inspector Temporary-to-Hire position for our client in Leominster. This is a union position upon hire!

Summary
Operate an injection molding machine to ensure quality product is being molded.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Possess the knowledge and understanding of the product line so as to be able to run any job in the Molding Department.
• lnspect for optical distortion crazing, pits, discoloration, scratches or digs, and gas marks.
• Maintain necessary detailed records of product being molded.
• Detect and report any irregular operations, defective parts or assembles, needed repairs, safety hazards or special problems to supervisor.
• Clean mold
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations,
• Perform housekeeping and other duties in a safe and organized way.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work during a 24-hour period, weekends and holidays if necessary.

High school or trade school diploma or equivalent training and/or certification.

Ability to read, write and speck English.

Abiliity to do basic math.

Lift up to 20 pounds and bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time.

Hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM
