1st and 2nd shift machine operator positions available. 1st shift is $19.00 per hour and 2nd shift is $20.00 per hour. These are temp to hire positions with reviews and pay increases upon hire.
In these positions, you would be trained and then responsible for set up and operation of press brake machines, to bend and shape metal parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements. Responsible for conducting regular inspections of machines and tools, to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills needed. Previous metal fabrication /press brake operator experience could increase starting pay.
Monday through Friday work schedule. First shift is 6:30am-3:00pm and second shift is 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
