Appleseed Personnel is a full service staffing firm with over 40 years of experience matching great people with great jobs! We specialize in temp to hire and temporary placements in all of Central Massachusetts. We are assisting a client in finding a great addition to their team. Excavation, land clearing, foundation excavation, utility trenching, rough and fine grading, and septic systems, lawn installation, landscape lighting, and planting are their specialties.
Full or part time available. $20.00-$24.00 hours per hour depending on your experience. Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed. Based in Acton, work is performed is surrounding areas along 495 and route 2.
This position requires a working knowledge of hand tools and machinery used in excavation and landscaping. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, follow verbal and written directions, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience in driving large trucks and trailers and general job site safety knowledge required.
Great for someone who likes to stay busy and active! Must be on your feet most of the day, including kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Ability to lift up to 80lbs and a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
