Appleseed Personnel is a full service staffing firm in Leominster, with over 40 years of experience in the staffing industry. We are assisting a Gardner client with adding a new person to their team!
Carpet and rug cleaning technician in Gardner. Hours of in home carpet and upholstery cleaning vary between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm with some Saturdays, depending on scheduling. $20.00 per hour to start.
Responsibilities include meeting with clients to discuss their cleaning needs, and assessing the state of floor and carpets that need to be cleaned. Applying stain and pre-cleaning treatments to carpets and floors, and carefully removing furniture to access all areas needing to be cleaned. Cleaning carpets and floor using machine and hand washing techniques and drying using drying machines and fans. Resetting furniture and offering customers other services and products.
Requirements include high school diploma or GED, friendly and professional demeanor, and good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and ability to operate industrial machines. Previous work experience as a carpet cleaner and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and machines is helpful.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
