Appleseed Personnel is a full service staffing firm in Leominster, with over 40 years of experience in finding quality jobs for people seeking employment, and we are accepting resumes for an associate maintenance technician.
This position requires the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems in the plant. This is an entry level position that performs duties with some oversight, direction and assistance.
Duties include dismantling defective machines and equipment, and installing new or repaired parts. Cleaning and lubricating bearings, gears, and shafts. Installation of and repair of electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring.
Strong mathematical sills and proficiency with measurements and unit conversions; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, graphing, and geometry. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form, and the ability to problem solve when several variables are involved.
Working knowledge of MS Office, email, and spreadsheets is required.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986. She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997. Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner. Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.
She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters. She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
