Assistant Shipper position available in Fitchburg, MA.
Appleseed Personnel, a full service staffing firm in Leominster, has been serving the employment needs of north central MA for over 40 years. We are assisting a client find a new member for their growing team.
In the assistant shipper position, you would be responsible for assisting with picking, packing, and labeling outgoing orders, verifying shipment contents against packing slip, loading and unloading packages using appropriate equipment. Assist with inventory counts and organization of shipping area. Communicate with shipping coordinators, carriers, and warehouse staff, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualified candidates will have basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software. Ability to lift up to 70lbs and stand for extended periods of time, Strong organizations skills and attention to detail is a must. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment, and basic math and counting accuracy.
Position does require a valid drivers license so you are able to do occasional parts deliveries.
Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30. Great opportunity with weekends free!

Stephanie joined Appleseed Personnel as an administrative coordinator in 2021.
