Temporary (6-8 weeks full time) Inventory Specialist needed in Shirley.  Flexible hours with ongoing weekly work to troubleshoot and keep the system up to date.  $22.00 per hour.

The Inventory Specialist would be responsible for building a functional and sustainable inventory workflow using the existing systems, including Tebra electronic health records system and FlexScan medical inventory software.  Primary goal is to create an inventory tracking system for medical supplies, with an emphasis on IV therapy supplies and related materials using barcodes, scanner based tracking, reporting tools, and inventory level monitoring to support efficient ordering and supply management.

Key duties include assessing clinic's current inventory processes and operational needs.  Building and implementing a medical inventory management system using FlexScan software.  Working with Tebra and FlexScan to improve organization and inventory visibility.  Creating inventory tracking structure for IV and medical supplies.  Developing barcode and scanner based workflows for inventory management.  You would be responsible for establishing a pratical process for supply ordering based on clinic usage.  Train clinic leadership on use of new system, and document work flow and system procedures to maintain consistently.  

 

Experience creating or managing inventory systems, inventory software knowledge, and barcode based tracking is required.  Strong technical and operational problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration.  

Experience with medical supply inventory and clinic operations preferred.  Background in inventory systems and supply chain support is a plus.

Maedon moved to Leominster from the Washington, DC area in 1986.  She joined the family business in 1991 and purchased Appleseed when her mother retired in 1997.  Maedon is actively involved in the community, sitting on the board of directors for Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, Montachusett Recovery Center in Leominster, and the advisory board chair at Crystal House in Gardner.  Maedon is passionate about the work she does, both in and out of the office.

She is the mother of two adult sons and “Brabra” to her favorite people, three young granddaughters.  She makes sure there is always time for family and friends, travel, her flower gardens, and her Great Dane Hazel.
