In the assistant shipper position, you would be responsible for assisting with picking, packing, and labeling outgoing orders, verifying shipment contents against packing slip, loading and unloading packages using appropriate equipment. Assist with inventory counts and organization of shipping area.  Communicate with shipping coordinators, carriers, and warehouse staff, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.  

Qualified candidates will have basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.  Ability to lift up to 70lbs and stand for extended periods of time,  Strong organizations skills and attention to detail is a must.  Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment, and basic math and counting accuracy.  

Position does require a valid drivers license so you are able to do occasional parts deliveries.  

Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30.  Great opportunity with weekends free!

In this position, you would be responsible for performing tests on product to ensure quality production of product, consistent with established standards.  You would be responsible for recommending corrective actions necessary to ensure conformity with specifications and customer standards.

Duties would include completing necessary paperwork for testing, entering test results into the computer, and monitoring machine production.  Packing materials for requested samples, labeling finished goods for shipping, and keeping a clean working area are daily requirements of this position.  

The ability to read and understand documents and write routine reports, solid math skills, and problem solving are all components of this job. Forklift experience is helpful.

3rd shift Production Assistant in Ayer.  Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am.  Join a growing company with excellent benefits upon hire.

Duties include opening and closing orders in the ERP system, verifying orders are correct, and correcting any discrepancies.  Print and distribute production schedules for manufacturing, perform cycle counts of labels, caps, cartons, etc.  Assist with analysis studies and OEE improvements, under the direction of shift supervisor.  Fill in for line workers dues to absences or vacation schedule, and assist with training of new operators.

Good mechanical trouble shooting skills are a must.  Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems is required.  Knowledge of HACCP and GMP'S in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.  Must be able to lift up to 60lbs and stand for long periods of time.
